Natural Doctrine - PlayStation 4 RPG Game | Strategic Fantasy Adventure | Perfect for Hardcore Gamers & Tactical RPG Fans

This game pretty much came out with no hype or push for it, On the face of it this does make sense as its not really a next gen game if you are looking at its graphical quality, Luckily the gameplay is decent and holds this game together for the most part with a tactical battle system which requires your attention so you don't get caught out by the enemy and end up having your party wiped out because sometimes this game can be very unforgiving when you make a mistake and will constantly give you harsh reminders to not get greedy in your exploration of caves if you delve too deep.The characters are typical generic JRPG characters which isn't a bad thing as none of them are really dis-likable but don't do too much to make themselves likable or stand-out. The story of the game isn't bad but like the characters its just not that good either just a pretty average game in this regard which starts in such a random fashion that you will think "eh?" when you first start the game as it throws you straight in with no explanation as to who the characters are or anything about the world which makes things much harder to understand or connect with in regards to the characters and the story as their just isn't enough explanation of anything in the opening hours that pull you into the loop of what is actually going on in the game.In the end though the game is not bad, its not great. I do recommend it however as I feel there is some real appeal and fun to be had in the combat for people who like action strategy games with Japanese characters/story elements in the vein of Valkyria Chronicles(Nowhere near as good as that however) but yeah it is the first JSRPG on the Playstation 4 in Europe/NA and that was what caught me eye when I first read about this game, Its a good effort and for a proper score id give it a 6/10
